When people appear in The National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters, Credentialed Community Language (NAATI CCL) test, it enhances their points to apply for a points-based skilled migration visa in Australia. The test evaluates the capacity to communicate at a community level in two languages (English and another language).
It's crucial to understand that passing the CCL test doesn't certify you to work as an interpreter or translator professionally. Typically, individuals who plan to apply for a points-based skilled migration visa in Australia, which awards points for Credentialed Community Language holders, take this test.
There are two dialogues that the student has to translate.
Each dialogue is of 45 marks, and the total score of NAATI is 90.
To pass the test, you need
a)Overall, at least 63 scores
b)At least 29 in each dialogue
NAATI uses the mark deduction method, where the test begins with a maximum score, and marks are deducted for every error made. Different mistakes result in different score deductions.
It is a credentialed community test that gives you 5 points for your Permanent residency. It is different from the NAATI translator test.
We provide morning and evening classes five days a week. The morning class is from 9 to 10 and the evening class is from 4 to 5. Classes are online. Fifteen days before the test, we provide all the students with one-on-one sessions. These sessions are intensive training time, during which we focus on vocabulary and time management and take mock tests.
